When asked about the reasons why it is worth creating a producer group, farmers say with one voice: this is more advantageous.

Seasoned farmers, who have been in the group for more than 10 years and have long forgotten about the funding already used, claim that if the group is formed only to get funding, then in the long-term business will be none of this. In their opinion, the group's legitimate aim is the effect of scale and the possibility of cooperation between producers, support, joint investments, and acquiring new customers. Groups are also a remedy for agrarian fragmentation, when the average size of a farm in Poland is just over 10 ha.
A group of farmers will provide more goods than a single producer. Greater opportunities give the opportunity to win larger customers, but they expect large batches of equal quality. The main advantages are the possibility of safe, stable sales of their products by the group and a guarantee of stable development. Participation in the group removes the burden of work related to product sales. The company's management and relevant sales departments are responsible for this.
Groups receive additional points when submitting applications for the processing and marketing of agricultural products, they can also use preferential credits. The Group also has an impact on the quality of the product it produces, and thus obtaining higher prices, easier cooperation with customers, shorter payment terms. Maintaining the status of the group is worthwhile, allowing the consolidation of producers in one organization. The status of the group allows also to apply for investment subsidies provided for in RDP 2014-2020.

A business plan that will require a lot of data, declaring production levels, number of plots, and indication of herds will be a serious challenge for new groups. This is a basic document that shows the action plan in specific areas related to the goals of establishing our group.
Do we have a chance to develop our agricultural production? Yes, but to properly manage our significant agricultural production on the European Union market, we must organize well. This is a necessity, because producers of all developed EU countries have already done so.
