Polagra-Food
Polish food for years has enjoyed the excellent reputation in terms of both taste and quality, thanks to Polagra-Food 2011 fair organised during the Polish Presidency in the European Union Council its potential will be appreciated by the visitors from all over Europe.
This year more than 200 exhibitors representing the meat, dairy, confectionery, food and alcohol industries will present their offers at Polagra-Food fair. The extensive and varied offer of Polagra-Food 2011 exhibitors will be accompanied by many international trade events, exhibitions, competitions, lectures, conferences and workshops. The fair will be visited by the largest retailers and merchants from all over Europe. At the invitation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Marek Sawicki, this year's fair will be also visited by the representatives of European Ministries.
Plan your participation in the events accompanying the fair today. There will be held, among other things:
Distribution Forum,
a series of specialist conferences for representatives of the FMCG industry. This year the invited experts will talk about, among other things, the arrangement and equipment of retail outlets and the successful integration of wholesale and retail.
Polish-Russian conference dedicated to small and medium-sized enterprises
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development will invite at the fair to participate in the Polish-Russian SME Forum of Agro-food Industry. The event was inspired and supported by the presidents of Poland and Russia. During the conferences, Polish and Russian experts will present among other things the directions and opportunities for small and medium enterprises in the agro-food sector in both countries. The Forum will also provide an opportunity for individual business meetings with Russian representatives of the agro-food industry.
XVII Forum of Butchers and Cold Meat Manufacturers
The theme of the Forum will be the promotion of niche kinds of meat that are ideal as culinary meat and may also be the raw material for processing. The Forum space brings together experts who will present the latest world trends in the microbiological safety in the meat industry and answer questions concerning veterinary supervision and proper labelling of meat products. It will also be the arena for the show "Meat in the spices land" and the Polish National Cold Meat Competition. On the last day of the fair the Forum space will be taken over by the youth - students of catering and food industry schools.
Sugar Congress
The fair is the perfect place for the industry meeting and debate on the potential and future of the industry. Representatives of the sugar industry decided to take this opportunity, the congress devoted to the industry is scheduled for the second day of fair. The situation on the sugar market and the related regulations will be among the main themes of the meeting.
TASTES OF REGIONS fair
The event fully dedicated to natural, regional and traditional foods. During the fair, representatives from different parts of Poland will present hundreds of products, including regional wines, liqueurs, meads, cheeses, meats and processed fruit and vegetables. The exposition will be accompanied by performances of folk groups
Food Design Workshop
Workshop participants will learn how to design innovative food products and services, learn about theoretical and practical sides of the design process, from the concept through the project to its implementation.
Consumer Product Rating
Consumer's opinion is often more important for the manufacturer than many scientific reports. At Polagra-Food consumers have the floor! - during the fair an independent consumer panel will test and evaluate some of the presented products. How well will the products meet the expectations of the consumers?
